The Creve Coeur Fire District is proud to be a part of the St. Louis Metro USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) Team.  Our resources allow us to handle technical emergencies such as High Angle Rope Rescue, Trench Collapse, Building Collapse, and Water Rescue.  Many of our personnel have specialized extensive training in each of these areas of rescue and coordinate efforts with other districts in the area. Strike Team 3 of the Metro USAR can be moved to action any where in the state according to the need.
